The Winter 2015 issue of Twist Collective came out last week, and I am thrilled to have my newest shawl pattern in it!

Ripplerock is a large, cozy shawl perfect for snuggling into on cold days. The body has a solid all-over diamond pattern that provides both interest and warmth and is knitted down and out from the center of the top edge.

The wide cable and lace border is worked across the bottom of the shawl from side to side and is joined to the body stitches at the end of every right-side row.

The pattern uses 5 skeins of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the color Sage. Isn’t that color just luscious? I can’t wait to see what color you use! I also think it would look great using a different color for the border!

You can purchase Ripplerock through the Twist Collective website (don’t worry, you’ll have the option to add it to your Ravelry library!).

I look forward to seeing your Ripplerocks! Don’t forget to tag your projects with #frecklesandpurls on social media!
