Yay! A pile of Trellis! I’ve finished all of the pieces and all I have left to knit is the collar and then it’s seaming seaming seaming!

I should be finished by this weekend! Yay! This is very good because guess what is arriving in the mail any day now. Yarn for Butterfly!

I’m not going to knit it in the recommended Rowan Kid Silk Haze. I don’t think I want a mohair dress. I read everyone’s post at the Butterfly Knit-a-long on Craftster.org and a lot of them used the wool lace yarn from handpaintedyarn.com. So that’s what I’m using in a dark blue. And what a deal! One skein is more than enough to make the dress and it was only $5.95! I can’t wait until it comes so I can go to the bead store and buy some beads!

Will I ever finish Geoff’s scarf? Yeah… someday…

I am looking forward to seeing Trellis finished. It’s such a cute little sweater.
What an awsome price for yarn for your Butterfly, that dress is stunning.

Looking forward to seeing your finished Butterfly. I’ve seen a few finished on other blogs, and it’s such a lovely pattern. Something I would definitely mess up!

i recently finished my 1st b-fly and just cast on for number 2. i had a love/hate/love with this pattern. i loved it and then i kept screwing it up and hated it. and now that’s it’s done, i am in love all over again. it really is the most beautiful thing i think i’ve ever made, even with mistakes. i’ve seen some in the handpainted yarn…gorgeous. can’t wait to see how yours turns out!
